The Classic NES Series, also known as the NES Classics in Europe and Famicom Mini in Japan, are a series of Game Boy Advance games that are direct ports of select Nintendo Entertainment System games, albeit with some graphical squishing to fit it onto the screen's parameters. In Japan, both the Famicom and its Disk System peripheral had select titles released as part of the Famicom Mini series. Metroid was released as a part of the series.
