Metroid Prime: Trilogy is a Wii compilation title consisting of the first three main titles within the Metroid Prime series: Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid Prime: Trilogy was developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo in 2009. It was later reissued for the Wii U in 2015 as a digital download via the Nintendo eShop.

Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes were originally developed and released for the Nintendo GameCube. In 2009, both titles received their own standalone New Play Control! release for the Wii, exclusively in Japan, as both New Play Control! releases were instead included in Metroid Prime: Trilogy in North America, Europe, and Australia. The Wii versions of Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes include features that were originally introduced in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, such as a new control scheme utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk and a credits system supported by WiiConnect24.
