Relevance to Metroid

Gameplay of Catch Mode

Both Catch Mode and Level 12 of Marathon Mode are themed after the first Metroid game. Both have a remix of Brinstar as their background music, and Marathon Mode plays a slightly faster variant.

On the title screen, Samus is shown running around and shooting tetrominoes.
